The nice thing about riding in the cold is that I can ride hard and not be drenched in sweat when I reach my destination. If I ride the same way I’ve been riding lately when it’s 80 degrees here in Chicago I will be soaked through.
To the cute girl cyclist who said “Nice Surly” to me at a stop light: That was very nice of you to say that. Sorry all I could manage to say was “Thanks”. My energy was drained from work. I just didn’t have the words to say anything more. It was the nicest thing anyone said to me all week. Thank You.
